Our sustainable design team aims to improve building performance by reducing negative environmental impacts and the health and comfort of building occupants. Our fundamental goals is to reduce the consumption of non-renewable resources, minimise waste and create a healthy, productive environment. Passivhaus

Through the Passivhaus principles, we review all types of building at design stage, pre-planning or post planning. The PHPP process will determine annual heating and cooling demand, as well as renewable energy requirements and gains. This will provide you with an accurate estimate of annual operating costs.

Design stage thermal modelling can be used as part of the Passivhaus services offered to ensure low thermal bridging values and lower the performance gap seen in more typical build types. We deliver a post PHPP assessment report that includes both the assessment results and suggestions for improvement in order to meet certification standards.

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a method of evaluating the environmental impact of construction processes and buildings from cradle to grave.
Through LCA, we attempt to identify the environmental effects during all stages of the life of a building and produces figures that represent the environmental and carbon impact throughout the project lifecycle—from construction to disposal.

Life Cycle Cost (LCC)

Calculations

Life Cycle Costing (LCC) is the summation of all the expenses incurred by an asset throughout its life cycle.
Various costs associated with an asset include initial cost, installation cost, utility cost, maintenance cost, repair cost, replacement cost and end of life cost. We are able to embed these into the final as-built LOD 500 3D models through the use of specialist software. Along with this, other parameters like maintenance interval, repair interval, life of the product and discount rate can also be incorporated.
